The Swiss crypto management platform Taurus has formed a partnership with Aktionariat to facilitate tokenisation
Taurus will offer services for specified Ethereum-based tokenized shares issued by Aktionariat, while the latter will provide client companies with a pathway to listing on Taurus’ exchange.
On Thursday, Aktionariat AG, a Swiss equity token specialist, announced a partnership with Taurus SA, a securities firm.
Taurus, a provider of digital asset infrastructure, will provide services for specific Ethereum-based tokenized shares that Aktionariat has issued per the agreement. Aktionariat will offer its client companies a gateway to listing on the Taurus Digital Exchange (TDX) in exchange. November will mark the commencement of the collaborative initiative.
“This partnership combines Taurus’ institutional-grade trading technology with Aktionariat’s expertise in tokenizing Swiss companies’ equity.” The firms wrote that “the objective is to enhance liquidity and unleash value for tokenized [small and medium-sized enterprises] and their shareholders by granting them access to TDX’s network of banks, professional investors, and retail clients.”
A security token is a type of cryptocurrency that denotes fractions of assets with real-world value, such as equity in companies, real estate, and bonds. In summary, the legality of security tokens is currently uncertain, but they grant proprietors a claim on the profits of the underlying assets and a stake in an asset.
RealUnit, a crypto-focused investment firm, was one of the first to utilize the shared platform. In April 2022, the firm tokenized its shares on Ethereum with Aktionariat. The firm maintains that this is a first for the country, as investors will have the option of selecting between conventional bearer shares and tokenized shares as tokens.

“The admission to trade on TDX is a logical next step in our endeavors to enhance the accessibility and liquidity of our investors,” stated Dani Stüssi, CEO of RealUnit Schweiz AG, in a statement.
Aktionariat is a fintech company that employs blockchain technology to facilitate the connection between investors and businesses. The company facilitates the creation of a market for digitized shares, a portfolio app for crypto purchases, and ERC-20-based security tokens through the use of tools such as Brokerbots. Taurus is a blockchain infrastructure company that specializes in the management of tokenized “real-world” assets.
“This partnership is consistent with Taurus’ overarching objective of facilitating the accessibility of private equity to investors and digitizing private markets.” The company believes that “the process of purchasing a private security should be as simple as purchasing a book online, regardless of whether it is equity, debt, or other assets such as funds and real estate.”
