Ripple’s CEO Will Speak at a Summit in Dubai to Discuss the Practical Applications of Blockchain Technology

At the upcoming Dubai Fintech Summit, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse plans to discuss the primary difficulties of cryptocurrency practicality and regulation.

The Ripple CEO recently tweeted that he will be teaming up with CNBC reporter Dan Murphy to help shape the future of cryptocurrencies and stress the need for regulatory frameworks as the sector continues to grow.

The summit will talk about new developments and difficulties in the developing industry. Dubai, which is home to over 20% of the world’s fintech companies, is working to provide a hub where new entrepreneurs, investors, and established players can collaborate to advance the rapidly growing FinTech sector.

Over the past few years, Ripple, the company behind the widely used XRP cryptocurrency, has established a substantial foothold in Dubai.

The National Bank of Fujairah and the Saudi British Bank are just two of the local financial institutions that have partnered with Ripple to take advantage of its blockchain-based payment solutions for international wire transfers.

For a while, Ripple considered making Dubai its new international headquarters instead of San Francisco. The corporation, however, has opted to keep its headquarters in San Francisco.
