Neon EVM debuts to support Ethereum applications on Solana

To facilitate the creation of Ethereum-native apps on Solana, Neon EVM has published a tool.

Today, Neon EVM launched a development environment for Solana-based Ethereum apps. Neon is implemented as a Solana-based smart contract that may deploy code written for the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) on the network.

The team has completed the required tools for Ethereum developers to migrate their projects to Solana, a move that might possibly lower the operating expenses of their apps, as was stated.

The company is performing thorough testing to ensure that its EVM solution will work smoothly with Solana’s high throughput capabilities for hosting Ethereum applications.

In addition to facilitating communication with the Solana network, Neon EVM intends to let the Ethereum program make use of Solana’s built-in features, such as the ability to execute transactions in parallel.

Marina Guryeva, director of the Neon Foundation, expressed her enthusiasm at the launch of Neon EVM on the Solana Mainnet. She said, “We will offer the numbers based on real-world data after we have repeated the tests in production.”
