Meta Launches NFT Sharing Feature for Facebook and Instagram Users in the United States

Facebook’s parent company, Meta, just announced that Instagram and Facebook users in the United States may now link their wallets to transfer digital treasures between platforms.

According to a statement issued by social media giant Meta, the firm has now put out its NFT sharing tool, allowing users in the United States to link their wallets and share their digital collections on Facebook and Instagram.

Meta previously disclosed that the company is presently testing the NFT sharing capability and may soon introduce it to its users and customers.

Additionally, the company revealed that customers would be able to cross-post their digital collectables on both sites.

Instagram and NFT users in the United States may now effortlessly link their crypto wallets such as Rainbow, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase, and Dapper Wallet to simultaneously publish NFTs on Instagram and Facebook.

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, expressed his desire to incorporate NFTs on Instagram and Facebook for the first time in March 2022. Later, the business experimented with a few of US-based customers before announcing in June 2022 that NFTs are coming to Facebook and Instagram.

With the formal launch of the NFT sharing function in 100 countries, Meta aims to strengthen its position in the cryptocurrency industry. The firm intends to grow its base and launch other crypto-based products in the future. According to reports, the company is preparing to create animations for NFTs posts and digital collectables. In addition, Meta has previously sought to enter the digital marketplace industry by developing its own NFT marketplace.
