Shiba Inu Now Accepted as a Payment Method at South America’s Largest Virtual Reality Club
The biggest virtual reality club in South America will take Shiba Inu and other cryptocurrencies through BitPay.
Shiba Inu is now accepted by North and South America’s biggest virtual reality club through BitPay. Shiba Inu support was recently introduced to BitPay, enabling purchases at stores that accept the payment method or where a gift card may be acquired using the company’s wallet.
VR World, the biggest virtual reality club in North and South America, has announced that it would accept cryptocurrencies via BitPay for payment of products and services. VR World continues to be an active participant in the NFT community, organising the official afterparty for the November NFT NYC conference.
“After hosting the official afterparty for the NFT NYC conference last month, it became evident to us that cryptocurrency has penetrated daily life,” says VR World CEO Leo Tsimmer.
On Dec. 9, cryptocurrency payment provider BitPay announced that retailers on its network may now accept Shiba Inu payments and that customers can now purchase, store, and exchange the dog-themed coin using the BitPay Wallet app.
Apart from Shiba Inu, BitPay supports the following coins: Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Wrapped Bitcoin, Dogecoin, and Litecoin, as well as five USD-pegged stablecoins.
Shiba Inu’s increasing popularity
Flexa, a cryptocurrency payments startup sponsored by the Winklevoss twins, just added Shiba Inu support, meaning that SHIB holders may now spend it at about 40,000 locations across the United States.
Meanwhile, the SHIB price has been consolidating in a triangle shape as investors look for indications to the next move. According to CoinMarketCap statistics, SHIB is now the 13th biggest cryptocurrency, trading at a price of $0.0000336.
