SHIB, DOGE, and Other Crypto Payments Now Accepted by Top 100 Accounting Firm

An accounting business in Boston has just begun taking bitcoin payments using the BitPay payment processor, which is one of the world’s most popular. Shiba Inu ($SHIB) and Dogecoin ($DOGE) are two examples of cryptoassets inspired by memes that it accepts.

Cryptocurrency services are already being developed by the firm’s staff, according to a press release, and the company is moving toward “fully embracing crypto and its rising importance in the economy.”

Wolf’s statement states that he has “expertise in several services for people in the cryptocurrency field,” including audits, tax, compliance, cybersecurity, and smart contracts, as well as blockchain technology.

Using BitPay, the accounting company has been around for over a century and takes a wide range of cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin ($BTC), Litecoin ($LTC), Ethereum ($ETH), the meme-inspired cryptocurrencies described above, and stablecoins tied to the US dollar.

As Shiba Inu’s acceptance continues to rise, XcelTrip, a “next-gem, decentralised trip booking platform” backed by blockchain technology, just introduced support for payments in the meme-inspired cryptocurrency Shiba Inu.

Many restaurants in 65 countries are now able to take many cryptocurrencies as payment, including Shiba Inu thanks to a recent agreement between the world’s largest supplier of restaurant software and payment solutions, Lavu, and the Fintech payments business Verifone.

CryptoGlobe reported that late last year, the Binance-backed trip booking company Travala included Shiba Inu as a payment mechanism. This service covers more than 90,000 locations in 230 countries and territories and has more than 2.2 million properties.

During this period, Shiba Inu’s chief developer, Shytoshi Kusama, has hinted that an announcement that would “floor everyone” will be made in the near future.
