Scam Links Were Posted After a Babylon X Account Was Hacked

Hackers recently gained access to the Blockchain Babylon X account for the Cosmos Zone network. The hackers used the Babylon X account to send phishing links to unwary victims throughout the incident.

It is now unknown whether complete control has been regained, notwithstanding the removal of the malicious postings. Until further notice, users are urged not to click on any links connected to this account. Users are worried about X’s security due to an increase in hacks, such as those that have targeted Solv’s X account and cryptocurrency wallet Phantom.

Without the need for bridges, custodian services, or wrapped tokens, Babylon uses the security and decentralization of the Bitcoin network to stake any other Proof of Stake blockchain. It is a prominent participant in the cryptocurrency market because to its distinctive use of blockchain technology.

The incident comes after a spike in attacks that targeted well-known X accounts in the cryptocurrency space. Attackers recently disseminated misleading token information via Solv’s official account, which was also hacked.

Phantom, a producer of cryptocurrency wallets, denied reports that it will be releasing a token. Following the platform’s introduction of several social features, which many mistakenly believed to be an airdrop, rumors started to circulate. Phantom adamantly refuted the rumors of issuing tokens for the time being in a post on its X account, stating that it will instead keep enhancing the user experience.
