Ripple Expansion Into New Zealand Through AirWallex
Airwallex has confirmed the debut of its international payment services in New Zealand. Businesses in New Zealand will now have access to Airwallex’s worldwide payment services, which serve as an alternative to traditional banks.
Airwallex has used RippleNet since 2017 when it joined Ripple’s business blockchain network. Lotus, a well-known British performance car manufacturer, has announced its intention to join the market for non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
For its first NFT Collection, Lotus will collaborate with NFT PRO, an industry expert, and Ripple, its blockchain partner, which will provide technical assistance for the XRP Ledger (XRPL) network.
The collaboration between Lotus and NFT PRO signifies the automobile manufacturer’s entry into web3 by providing new opportunities for its customers, NFT collectors, and crypto enthusiasts.
XRPL hints at native AMM support
According to U.Today, the XRP Ledger Foundation (XRPLF) is now the official repository for the Rippled XRPL protocol code base. XRPLF is a nonprofit organisation that operates independently of Ripple and is committed only to the long-term growth and development of XRP Ledger.
Ripple’s director of engineering, “NIKB,” announced that Ripple will continue to contribute to the codebase while recommending the adoption of native AMM capability as the next phase of development for XRPL.
