Paradigm Capital Transfers 3,718 ETH to Anchorage Digital Amid Rippling ETH Prices
Anchorage Digital received 3,718 ETH from Paradigm Capital in the early hours of Sunday, April 28.
Anchorage Digital received 3,718 ETH in the early hours of Sunday, April 28, from Paradigm Capital, an employee-owned independent investment dealer. Notable Asian crypto writer Colin Wu claims that Paradigm had not exchanged ETH in three months prior to this.
The value of the transfer was about $12 million at the time of the transfer, reducing Paradigm’s portfolio balance to around $415 million. However, due to an increase in the value of crypto assets generally, the portfolio balance had risen to more than $422 million when this report was submitted.
The majority of Paradigm’s holdings—83,518 ETH, or $276.42 million—were in Ethereum, according to data from Arkham Intelligence. In addition, Paradigm has a sizeable holding in LDO, the Lido DAO’s native cryptocurrency. The well-known investment dealer’s portfolio included 70 million LDO, with a value of $146.30 million, as of the filing of this report.
Along with OP, QWLA, INS, AAA, and BNB, Paradigm’s crypto asset portfolio includes a wide range of other cryptocurrencies. After a maintenance period that began in 2019, Paradigm’s portfolio achieved a profit of $26.53 million at the present status of the crypto market.
Paradigm’s portfolio generated a $919 million profit in November 2021, according to Arkham’s statistics, marking its greatest profit margin to that point. The profit margin fell to $1.7 million during the crypto winter, a dramatic decline. So, at this point, Paradigm’s holdings had made a significant comeback.
Since Paradigm made the significant move, the price of ETH has soared. According to statistics from TradingView, the flagship cryptocurrency has gained 2.14% by rising from a starting price of $3,258 to $3,312 as of writing. Paradigm is an investment business that aims to recoup all of its losses, so a sustained spike would be great for their portfolio.
