Michael Saylor of MicroStrategy Introduces the Real Significance of “Laser Eyes” for Bitcoin

Michael Saylor, creator of the business intelligence firm MicroStrategy and a prominent Bitcoin advocate, has lately tweeted something that has caught the attention of the Bitcoin community.

The Bitcoiner explained the significance of the infamous “laser eyes” symbol for Bitcoin in that article. The pioneer cryptocurrency’s price was driven down from the $72,700 zone just after this tweet came out.

After Michael Saylor explained what “Bitcoin laser eyes” really imply, he became famous among Bitcoiners. The Bitcoin evangelist tweeted that contrary to what many Bitcoin critics, including the gold bug Peter Schiff, assert, this is not a gimmick but rather a symbol of genuine Bitcoin users.

The “laser eyes” flashmob first appeared in 2021, after the halving of Bitcoin the previous year, when the cryptocurrency community anticipated a sharp increase in value to $100,000. Michael Saylor, like many other Twitter users, including venture capitalist Anthony Pompliano, became “believers” when they added “laser eyes” to their profile images.

Saylor tweeted this week that Bitcoin is “a worldwide, economical, easy, and safe savings account” that is “managed by incorruptible software” and serves billions of people.

Saylor has been tweeting some advice on how to “become the money” as of late. The ability to memorize twelve numbers is all that’s required, he said on Twitter. The Bitcoiner clearly meant to imply that they were referring to a cold storage bitcoin wallet’s private keys.
