MetaMask and Space ID want to simplify encryption
MetaMask and Space ID have jointly disclosed an integration that is designed to simplify the process of accessing wallets and conducting cryptocurrency transactions.
In an effort to streamline the process of accessing crypto wallets and transmitting digital assets, Space ID and MetaMask have announced an integration.
According to a statement, the new integration will enable users to “replace all of their public wallet addresses with a singular, secure, and customizable handle when making transactions on MetaMask.”
Space ID is a web3 domain and identity platform that enables users to administer their digital assets through a unified interface. Binance Labs was the lead investor in Space ID’s pilot round in 2022.
Christian Montoya, the MetaMask Product Lead, stated that the Space ID incorporation will simplify and secure the process of sending and receiving crypto on any EVM-compatible chain for MetaMask users. Consensys, the developer of MetaMask, acquired the crypto security app Wallet Guard earlier this year with the intention of enhancing the security of the non-custodial wallet.
In its statement, Space ID announced that users will now be able to “organize and store their IDs for multiple channels in one wallet.”
