Justin Sun Resigns as TRON’s CEO, Declaring the Tron Foundation Will Dissolve in 2022

Justin Sun has resigned as CEO of TRON to take up the role of Grenada’s WTO Ambassador. On July 25, 2022, the TRON Foundation will likewise be dissolved.

Justin Sun announced his acceptance of the Grenadian government’s offer and appointment to serve as the WTO ambassador and permanent representative of Grenada in a series of tweets accompanying an open letter. Grenada is an island republic in the eastern Caribbean, near to Venezuela.

Additionally, the crypto entrepreneur revealed that he has formally withdrew his three super nodes, “justinsuntron,” “BitTorrent,” and “Torrent,” from TRON representatives, as the TRON community will now be managed by 27 super representatives.

Sun claims that he would work in his new post at “full capacity,” alluding to his resignation from his position as TRON CEO. Sun clarifies, “I am not leaving TRON, but rather stepping back from an active position to serve as a leader and supporter now that the TRON network has been properly decentralised.”

Justin Sun heightened anticipations on Dec. 9 when he tweeted that he was preparing something huge,” to which a fan commented that it had “better be enormous.”

A new Twitter profile, “H.E Justin Sun,” with the bio “His Excellency Justin (Yuchen) SUN, Ambassador, Permanent Representative of Grenada to the World Trade Organization,” hints that the new WTO ambassador’s duties may have started in earnest.

Already, congratulations comments for the crypto entrepreneur have begun to stream in, notably from Yearn finance’s Andre Cronje and Three Arrows Capital CEO Zhu Su. Justin Sun states his opinion in his open letter that Tron is completely decentralised, which explains the latest change.
