David Gokhshtein Spreads “Fake News” About Ripple Case, Says Cardano Founder
In a recent tweet, Input Output CEO Charles Hoskinson accused bitcoin influencer David Gokhshtein of disseminating “false news” concerning the legal battle between Ripple and the SEC.
This occurred after Gokhshtein tweeted that the high-stakes lawsuit will “presumably” settle by December 15 based on what Hoskinson claimed during a recent YouTube Q&A session.
According to U.Today, Hoskinson learned via the grapevine that the court matter will be resolved on December 15. Additionally, the creator of Cardano cautioned that the conclusion of the two-year court fight would likely have “catastrophic” repercussions for the whole industry.
In his response to Gokhshtein, Hoskinson emphasized that it was only a report he received from someone else. Consequently, it seems improbable that the litigation will be concluded this month.
Gokhshtein responded by using the dictionary meaning of the term “supposedly” to imply that he had really hedged his tweet. Nevertheless, the crypto influencer praised Hoskinson, stating that the Cardano inventor is a “wonderful advocate” for the sector.
Even though both sides submitted their last arguments in the Ripple case at the beginning of December, it is possible that the matter will drag on for many months.
Previously, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse projected that the matter will be resolved in the first half of 2023.
