Elon Musk to again convert the Twitter logo into DOGE
Elon Musk, the billionaire owner of the Twitter network, has announced that the company’s logo would be updated, this time for good.
Elon Musk, a well-known billionaire in the crypto money sector, has claimed that he would permanently replace the bluebird emblem of Twitter with the Dogecoin (DOGE) mascot.
The social media platform’s billionaire owner further elaborated in a post he made by writing: “If a good enough X logo appears tonight, we’ll have it aired worldwide tomorrow.”
Later, Musk tweeted a blinking “X” picture and responded “Yes” to the topic of whether the Twitter logo will change in the Twitter Spaces discussion, adding, “it should have been done a long time ago.”
Since Musk’s October purchase of Twitter, the company’s name has been changed to X Corp, reflecting his goal of building a “super app” on par with China’s WeChat.
In April, the Shiba Inu dog from Dogecoin was briefly substituted for the Twitter bird, which boosted the value of the memecoin.
When Twitter CEO and co-founder Elon Musk stated earlier this month that the platform would restrict how many tweets each account could see in a day, the firm received tremendous backlash from users and marketing experts.
Nonetheless, once Musk solicited ideas for the logo, Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao contributed. Using an aspect of the Binance logo, Zhao crafted an “X” for the Twitter logo.
