Tom Brady Admits to Being a Huge Supporter of Ethereum Founder Vitalik Buterin
Tom Brady, the legendary NFL quarterback and seven-time Super Bowl champion, recently announced on Twitter that he is a huge admirer of Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin.
Mr. Brady continued by thanking Vitalik for his efforts to the crypto-verse, emphasising that the Autograph NFT project would not exist without Vitalik. Additionally, he said that Vitalik Buterin was the G.O.A.T. (Greatest of all time).
Vitalik praised Tom Brady for his wonderful support in response to his encouraging Tweet. Both tweets are shown here.
Tom Brady’s post came in reaction to Vitalik Buterin‘s admission that he was unaware of the NFL quarterback’s identity.
This came after Vitalik was mocked for becoming the first NFT to feature on the cover of Time magazine’s first-ever complete edition. Vitalik was likened to Tom Brady by social media trolls, but not in a flattering manner.
Vitalik Buterin, on the other hand, responded to the harsh remarks with the following statement. I had to ask folks around me who Tom Brady was. My best assumption was that he was Mission Impossible’s actor.
Tom Brady recently made waves when he announced his decision to re-enter the NFL and join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his 23rd season in the league. He originally announced his retirement on February 1, 2022, following 22 seasons with the New England Patriots (20 years) and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (22 seasons).
Brady won his eighth NFL championship with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020, beating the Kansas City Chiefs 31–9.
