Elon Musk, a tech tycoon and the recently promoted Chief Technology Officer of Twitter has revealed that the social media site would soon include a feature that will make it possible for users to develop communities around any issue they want.
People who are interested in cryptocurrencies like Dogecoin and XRP reacted quickly to Musk’s remark. Many XRP, DOGE, and MATIC-related Twitter accounts responded with excitement at the prospect of reaching new followers.
Elon Musk does not seem to be breaking a sweat to integrate DOGE as an official payment mechanism on Twitter, despite offering several new tools for crypto communities to grow and produce more content.
Despite his previous outspoken claims that DOGE would be perfect as a “Twitter coin” for tipping content producers and making micropayments on the site, he has since changed those claims.
Elon Musk once again declared his love for Dogecoin in a mysterious tweet ten days ago. Top members of the XRP army often reply to Musk’s tweets, and it’s not just the DOGE community. XRP supporters have joked that Musk made reference to XRP a few times lately when he tweeted “X,” referring to the “X-everything-app” that he ultimately intends to transform Twitter into.
