The US city mayor supports Bitcoin to cut inflation

Scott Conger’s tweeted, that Bitcoin will fix inflation. US inflation forecast for the next two years is set to be 6.35. In April, Conger tweeted that he would develop a blockchain task force. Mayor Scott Conger’s Blockchain Task Force is looking the city to accept bitcoin payments.

Scott Conger’s tweeted, that Bitcoin will fix inflation. His tweet challenged the US federal government to have two questions for the government regarding inflation and then there was the single answer of inflation is Bitcoin.

In recent years, US inflation has risen sharply. Mayor Conger pointed in his tweet that according to recent judgments, Forecast suggests, US inflation rate can be 6.35 in the next two years.

Why do we accept inflation? Why don’t we demand more from our federal government?

Conger pointed out that US inflation has risen to 172.8% in the past 37 years. Additionally, the mayor requested, citizens, make more demands from the federal government claiming that with each passing year, the value of the dollar decreases.

Conger’s Blockchain Task Force

Conner, a strong supporter of bitcoin adoption stands as the youngest mayor of the City of Jackson, Tennessee. Mayor Conner has always been in favor of digital assets as he believes digital assets will give its constituents more opportunities and more choices. 

In April, Conger tweeted that he would develop a blockchain task force.

It’s so refreshing to hear governments discussing different ways to finance things. Besides ‘we’re going to raise your property taxes,’ or ‘we’re going to implement this fee.’ If we can find another way to do it, then that’s what we’re going to do

Paying property taxes in Bitcoin

Mayor Scott Conger’s Blockchain Task Force is looking for a method for the city to accept bitcoin payments.  Also, the City of Jackson is working on a method, so that employees be able to pay property taxes in Bitcoin.

Our blockchain task force is looking into how the @CityofJacksonTN can accept property tax payments in #bitcoin and allow our employees to DCA in Bitcoin.

Mayor’s tweet is positively accepted by the people and claimed their support in favor of the proposal, even there are problems regarding fees. If Mayor Cong successfully carries out a project in his city, there is nothing to say how many other cities will follow it.
