The oldest Swiss business travel agencies now accept SHIB, DOGE, BTC, and ETH
The 1906-founded Swiss travel agency Kuoni Business Travel has partnered with the cryptocurrency payment provider BitPay.
Customers of Kuoni who need to schedule business trips will now be able to pay for services using bitcoins due to the partnership. BitPay presently accepts the following cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Shiba Inu (SHIB), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), and Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC).
Commenting on the innovation, the CEO of the travel firm said that by integrating cryptocurrencies as a form of payment, Kuoni is reacting to the increasing need for innovative digital payment methods.
Cryptocurrency payments are gaining popularity among retailers
Accepting cryptocurrencies as a payment method is no longer as shocking as it once was. There seems to be a daily increase in businesses that recognise the competitive benefits such inventions provide. BitPay and NowPayments also deserve a great deal of credit for the uptake of cryptocurrencies. In addition to foreign travel services and air carriers, Balenciaga, Gucci, and Tag Heuer are the customers of these two payment methods.
Surprisingly, despite the terrible market conditions, corporations are not frightened to engage with cryptocurrencies. Contrariwise, it seems that cryptocurrencies enable many merchants to achieve their marketing and operational potential. With each new integration and cooperation, we are possibly coming closer to a day when businesses that do not accept cryptocurrency payments will be deemed unfashionable.
