Telegram and Helika Gaming present a $50 million gaming accelerator powered by Notcoin

The program’s objective is to encourage innovation among game developers by utilizing the Ton blockchain to improve Telegram’s gaming ecosystem.

Telegram has announced the establishment of the Telegram Gaming Accelerator in collaboration with Helika Gaming in response to the success of Telegram’s blockchain-powered mini-apps.

The objective of the new initiative is to enhance the gaming experience of users on the messaging platform by leveraging the recent substantial growth of mini-apps and blockchain technology.

The initiative is also in line with the 200 million player success of games such as Hamster Kombat, which were launched on Telegram in March.

According to Notcoin’s announcement on X, the extensive Telegram user base that resulted from the microapplications had become the “new meta.”

Telegram intends to broaden its incubation program to include game developers through its partnership with Helika Gaming.

The program’s objective is to enhance the innovation and development of developers who are interested in developing gaming applications that are incorporated with Telegram.

Game studios, mobile app developers, and independent creators are the beneficiaries of a substantial $50 million investment from Helika Accelerate, which is supporting the collaboration.

The partnership’s objective is to develop a gaming experience that is both innovative and engaging, utilizing the Ton blockchain’s capabilities along with Telegram’s platform.

The action is a strategic move by Telegram to broaden the appeal of its platform and to diversify the number of games available by incentivizing game development.

The Telegram Gaming Accelerator program is opening its first cohort of applications next week. In less than a month, the common clicker game Notcoin recruited over 20 million sign-ups, breaking crypto game records in January.

Sasha Plotvinov, the founder of the Open Builders team, disclosed in an April interview with Cointelegraph that the game “merely resolved the matter.”

Plotvinov eliminated “all the obstacles” by streamlining the registration process, which provided users with the incentive to “go for all this Web3.”
