Shiba Eternity debuts in the Top 20 on the App Store on its first day

Shiba Eternity, a game developed by Shiba Inu and PlaySide Studios, had a large number of downloads on its first day of availability and ranked nineteenth among the top 20 games on Apple’s App Store.

Shiba Eternity was downloaded more than 10,000 times on the very first day, according to its Android equivalent, Google Play.

Shiba Eternity is a card-based strategy game with gameplay similar to that of the worldwide hit Hearthstone. Shiba Eternity is free to download and play, however, there is premium content available in the form of packs and unique items. According to copyright data, the game has been in development since 2020, indicating that it has been in the Shiba Inu development team’s intentions from the beginning of the project.

Significantly, the game may have a SHIB-burning system, which should shake up the process somewhat. It is unknown how the burning will occur, but prior reports from the creators of Shiba Inu indicate that the topic is on the agenda.

Shiba Eternity is not Shiba Inu’s last game and entertainment endeavour. A portion of the team’s efforts is also directed towards the creation of its own metaverse, SHIB: The Metaverse. Shiba Inu is aggressively recruiting members of the film and entertainment industries, including producers and technicians who have worked on Marvel and Netflix products, for this project.
