RFK Jr. Claims Guilty Verdict Could Benefit Trump’s Electoral Chances
On Thursday, the independent presidential contender addressed the crowd at Austin, Texas’s Consensus 2024.
The conviction of Donald Trump, his opponent for president, on Thursday may ultimately help Trump’s chances in November, according to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Speaking at Consensus 2024 in Austin, Texas, just hours after the news came, Kennedy expressed his conviction that, among a big portion of the American people, it would ultimately benefit President Trump.
Despite coming from a long line of Democrats, Kennedy is challenging Trump—the likely Republican nominee—and President Joe Biden as an independent. According to his team’s analysis, he would easily defeat Trump or Biden in a presidential runoff. However, he did mention that over half of his followers would cast their ballots for Trump if he decided not to run.
“I have reservations about Trump’s,” Kennedy said. “It is unfortunate for our society because he and Biden are mostly responsible for the divisiveness that exists in our nation.”
His remarks endorsing the technology wowed the crypto fans in the standing-room-only audience. He emphasized that the importance of transactional freedom on par with freedom of speech.
There has been a significant uptick in the use of cryptocurrency on campaign trails. After previously being skeptical of cryptocurrency, Trump has come out in favor of it, even asking for contributions in the form of cryptocurrency for his campaign. Just one-third of House Democrats joined Republicans to adopt a crypto law, even though Biden has not voiced his support.
Kennedy addressed the press at the Austin Convention Center before to taking the stage. Concerning Trump’s recent pro-crypto position, they sought his opinion.
“That makes me pleased,” Kennedy said. “For our nation, I believe it’s a positive thing. Embracing cryptocurrency means embracing openness and liberty. Whether or whether it was a political choice is irrelevant to me. I’m glad he did it, and I’m crossing my fingers that Biden follows suit.”
