Revolut opens a cryptocurrency exchange

One of the largest brokers in the United Kingdom, Revolut, has introduced a full-fledged cryptocurrency exchange with minimal fees and a global user base of 40 million.

In contrast to the 1% they charge via the app, Revolut X has a maker cost of 0% for limit orders and a taker fee of 0.09% for market orders.

The new exchange has made purchasing and storing cryptocurrency essentially free, removing the 1% cost that restricted its usage for crypto on Revolut and prompting others to wait for UK ETFs.

The exchange claims that its costs are stable at 0.09% for takers and 0% for makers, regardless of transaction volume, allowing it to compete with well-established cryptocurrency exchanges such as Kraken or Coinbase.

The app itself does not provide access to the exchange. It is exclusive to desktop use, but login is possible via a QR code that is integrated into your app.

The app account, including the fiat currency that may be immediately deposited, is accessible on your PC after QR login.

The fact that the exchange supports one hundred different cryptocurrencies—too many to list here—makes trading them a breeze. Users may begin trading immediately upon launch of this new, somewhat polished exchange.
