OrdinalsBot has successfully raised $3 million to accelerate the Bitcoin inscriptions ecosystem

Funds would be used to enhance Bitcoin’s functionality with the addition of inscriptions and BRC-20 tokens.

The OrdinalsBot infrastructure platform announced to CryptoSlate on March 26 that it has secured more than $3 million in a seed investment round to improve prospects in the larger Bitcoin ecosystem.

Eden Block and Nural Capital were major backers, while DACM was the round’s leader. Oak Grove Ventures, Lightning Ventures, and WWVentures are among the notable players.

After raising over $1 million for pre-seed investment, OrdinalsBot’s total capital has increased to $4.5 million with this recent contribution.

Launched last year, OrdinalsBot followed the Ordinals protocol’s meteoric rise to prominence in the cryptocurrency world. In the time after, the platform expanded its product offerings to include tools that make it easier to create and administer BRC-20 tokens and Bitcoin inscriptions.

The platform intends to use this new funding to expand prospects in the Ordinals and the Bitcoin ecosystem as a whole.

In order to do this, the company plans to increase the size of its staff in all areas, but especially in development. This group will be responsible for creating innovative solutions that will empower both users and developers within the ecosystem.

Originally intended as an automated inscription service, OrdinalsBot has expanded into many other areas, according to co-founder Toby Lewis.

“Our humble beginnings as the first automated inscription service in the Bitcoin Ordinals ecosystem have led to our growth and development. With the help of our new investors, we are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead, and we are certain that we can continue to propel Bitcoin—the largest and most decentralized chain in the world—to new heights.”

Similarly, OrdinalsBot’s co-founder, Brian Laughlan emphasized Bitcoin’s vital role as the foundation of decentralized finance and discussed how the company helped build the blockchain’s data infrastructure.

Richard Galvin, CEO of DACM, also praised OrdinalsBot for its innovative approach to Bitcoin’s ordinal inscriptions. In particular, he drew attention to the fact that the platform was involved in mining the biggest Bitcoin block to date, as well as three of the 10 biggest Bitcoin inscriptions recorded last month.
