Flexa Network announced on Friday that it would support the SHIB token, Shiba Inu’s native cryptocurrency. As such, customers will be able to pay using SHIB at a network of over 40,000 retailers, the business says.
Flexa is a payments network that teamed with Gemini – one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges situated in the United States – in early 2019.
Now, the firm has announced that it would support SHIB — the Shiba Inu ecosystem’s native cryptocurrency. Let’s get a jump on the weekend… SHIB is arrived! Shibatoken may now be used to make quick, secure payments everywhere Flexa is accepted — including more than 40,000 locations throughout the United States. The tweet is read. This implies that SHIB owners will be able to use their tokens to pay at retailers such as GameStop, Lowe’s, and Petco.
Additionally, the news comes only days after Kraken announced support for the cryptocurrency. SHIB is now trading at $0.00003449, up 0.6 percent on the day but down more than 60% from its two-month peak.
