Elon Musk’s tweet prompts 763 nodes to upgrade to Doge 1.14.4
Elon Musk’s two-week-old tweet assisted nearly 800 Doge nodes in upgrading to 1.14.4, but additional new nodes are required.
The proprietor of the Dogecoin dev account “Doge Whisperer” reminded the community of the significance of the recent 1.14.4 Dogecoin upgrade, which was endorsed by Elon Musk, the world’s leading innovator-entrepreneur, centibillioinare, and the most influential DOGE enthusiast.
A total of 763 Doge nodes have been upgraded. On August 30, Musk tweeted that the new Doge node upgrade was critical, as it will make the network more secure and lead to cheaper transaction fees in the future.
According to Doge Whisperer’s tweet, 763 nodes have now deployed the upgrade. However, the network needs many more new nodes, according to the tweet.
On September 7, the eighth-ranked Dogecoin fell below the $0.30 barrier, reaching a low of $.22, while Bitcoin fell below the $50,000 mark. DOGE was last seen at this pricing level in early August.
Musk mocks the media for turning his tweets into clickbait headlines.
Billy Markus, a Doge co-founder, uploaded a screenshot of a news item referencing Elon Musk’s recent statement about time being the ultimate currency.
The media has converted the tweet into a clickbait title incorporating Dogecoin, and the coin’s cofounder ridiculed the news outlet’s attempt to capture the audience’s interest in this manner. Elon Musk responded with a double ROFL emoji.
