Elon Musk said that SpaceX would soon accept it for Merch Payments

Even while he didn’t say if Starlink will follow suit in taking Dogecoin, Elon Musk promised that SpaceX would do so in the near future.

Dogecoin will soon be accepted as a method of payment by SpaceX CEO Elon Musk. Musk’s words have caused the meme coin’s value to spike in the past on similar occasions. After the news surfaced, the Bitcoin price rose by about 15%, but it quickly gave up most of its gains.

Self-proclaimed Dogefather, Elon Musk, said on Twitter that he’s doubling down on his belief in Dogecoin after announcing that Tesla will take Dogecoin as a form of payment for certain of its products. Doge will soon be able to be used to purchase Tesla merchandise, he said in a tweet.

However, Musk did not say when the payment option would be made accessible to the general population.

The CEO of SpaceX, Elon Musk, said, “Maybe one day,” when asked whether consumers may pay for Starlink internet connections with Dogecoin.

The “DOGE-1 Mission to the Moon” was funded entirely using Dogecoin, which was accepted by SpaceX in May of last year. “Dogecoin would be the first cryptocurrency in space,” Musk said.

Since this article was written, the biggest meme currency by market cap has fallen slightly below $0.08 due to the news.
