DeGods and y00ts, two prominent Solana NFTs, are moving to Ethereum and Polygon

DeGods and y00ts, two of the most major NFT projects on Solana, have announced a transfer to other blockchains.

DeGods and y00ts, two of the most prominent non-fungible token collections on Solana, have announced on Twitter their intentions to connect to Ethereum and Polygon in early 2019.

The two collections were made in October 2021 on Solana by Rohun Vora, an NFT creator who uses the alias “Frank DeGods.” Regarding floor pricing, these are the two most prominent NFT initiatives on the Solana blockchain.

The DeGods collection will transition to Ethereum in an attempt to compete with prominent NFTs such as Bored Ape Yacht Club and CryptoPunks. Its floor price of 460.00 SOL ($5,221) is the highest on the Solana NFT market. y00ts, which has a value of 140 SOL ($1600), is expected to shift to Polygon, an Ethereum sidechain that enables quicker and cheaper transactions.

Vora said in a Twitter Spaces that Ethereum and Polygon will serve as the new homes for the collections, allowing them to reach a larger NFT user base. He said that the migration will be accomplished through a cross-chain bridge. The team has not yet released technical information about the migration and how the so-called bridge would function. These specifics will be disclosed later.

“The bridge’s specifications will be disclosed after it has been completed and tested. This has never been done on this scale before. The DeGods team said, “We want to make sure it’s airtight.”
