Craig Wright’s new X account continues to indicate that he is not Satoshi

Five months after losing his UK Bitcoin court case, Craig Wright has redirected users to an alternate profile with 32,600 fewer followers and has abandoned his primary X (formerly Twitter) account.

The individual known as ‘LB’ shared the post on behalf of Wright. They informed @Dr_CSWright’s followers that the account was no longer in use and urged them to follow the @CsTominaga account for “blockchain and Bitcoin information.”

Mainly, this new account publishes ambiguous content regarding the development of Bitcoin and its technology. It also contains a pinned tweet that states, “Legal notice: Dr. Craig Steven Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto.”

Following his loss of his Bitcoin case in March and the subsequent court injunction on July 16, Wright is legally obligated to disclose this statement.

The account stated, “Today, for the first time, I am genuinely free,” and stated, “In the future, I will create my own websites and other platforms to publish my papers and link the documents I am composing.”

Wright submitted two appeal applications to the UK appeals case tracker over the weekend. It includes a request for an appeal against Peter McCormack and a $1.9 million restraining order that McCormack successfully applied for against Wright. On July 5, Judge Justice Mellor authorized this order. This appeal request specifies that it is “awaiting packets and/or documents from the applicant’s or applicant’s solicitors.”

His request to appeal the decision in the Crypto Open Patent Alliance (COPA) case is now visible and indicates that it is anticipating documents from the appropriate parties.

Bird & Bird, the law firm that represents COPA, stated that it is “confident” that the appeal lacks a legitimate foundation, according to Protos. His appeal request is over 500 pages long and is equivalent to a four-inch stack of paper, according to the podcast Dr. Bitcoin.
