Charles Hoskinson predicts that in 5 to 10 Years, nation-states will adopt Cardano (ADA)
Charles Hoskinson, the creator of Cardano (ADA), forecasts that nation-states will adopt the smart contract platform within the next decade if anti-crypto forces do not intervene.
In a recent video update, Hoskinson explains to his 320,000 YouTube followers that countries will eventually depend on the Cardano network for various practical purposes.
“Within the next decade or so, distributed ledger technologies like Cardano will be able to power entire nations. I could see that occurring. I envision a scenario in which Cardano could be used to administer a national identity system based on principles. Or a payment system governed by regulations. Or a CBDC [central bank digital currency] with safeguarding principles. I see that path.
And, if left alone, the Cardano ecosystem has sufficient resources to facilitate and develop this actively. It is unavoidable. We have decentralized brain function. We possess a community. We are experiencing accelerated expansion. There will be tens of millions of individuals in five to ten years. And those individuals will be engaged and equipped with the necessary treasury to accomplish this, identify use cases, and wire them in.”
Hoskinson warns that quite powerful forces are attempting to maintain a hierarchical power structure by impeding the development of crypto and decentralization.
Choke Point 2.0, the international movement, and the ESG movement, all of which recognize that this paradigm is the only thing standing in the way of the pyramid, are all currently happening. People will only embrace the pyramid if there is a superior alternative.
Having control over my money, identity, data, economic agency, and ability to participate in the world and limit the government’s power in my life is quite advantageous.
