ChatGPT is anticipated to be incorporated into iOS 18, the upcoming Mac operating system update, pending the agreement between both parties.
According to sources with knowledge of the situation, Apple is reportedly nearing the conclusion of contract negotiations with OpenAI to utilise ChatGPT functionalities on the iPhone.
Bloomberg reported on May 11 that if everything goes according to plan, ChatGPT functionalities would be included in Apple’s next software version, iOS 18. Reportedly, Apple and Alphabet, the parent company of Google, are discussing the possibility of integrating the Gemini chatbot. These talks, meanwhile, are supposedly not as far along as the ones with Apple.
Whether or not these functionalities will be available to consumers as an option to deactivate in the next OS is still up in the air.
There were whispers a year ago that Apple was limiting ChatGPT use within the firm for security concerns. The speculation that Apple is stepping up its attempts to launch its own AI business, however, has been growing in recent months.
According to a report by Cointelegraph on April 30, Apple has been reportedly bringing in Google graduates to strengthen its artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities.
In addition to staffing itself with AI specialists, Apple has just bought two Zurich, Switzerland-based AI businesses, prompting the construction of a “secretive” facility there known as “Vision Lab.”
In its keynote presentation showcasing the M4 processor in the new iPad, Apple referred to Octane, a 3D design programmed po the Render Network, during its May 11 reveal.
The mention caused Render Token (RNDR) to surge 11%. In comparison to Fetch.ai (FET), which has down 0.77%declinedd SingularityNET (AGIX), which has declined 0.15%, it has had the most gain among the top 10 AI tokens during the previous week, increasing by 18%, according to data from CoinMarketCap.
