Ankr collaborates with Optimism to provide users with a fast and dependable RPC solution

Ankr, a supplier of Web3 infrastructure and “one-click node deployment,” has announced that it would work with Optimism to provide RPCs.

The Optimism open-source project is a layer-2 scaling solution for Ethereum that prioritises fast and efficient transactions. In recent months, it has captured the attention of many, notably Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin.

Many industry giants, like Solana and Avalanche, have benefited from Ankr’s assistance in operating their blockchains quicker, enabling enhanced Web3 experiences worldwide. OP Labs’ chief of engineering, Matthew Slipper, stated:

“Adding Ankr as an infrastructure provider allowed our community members who wish to construct with strong and dependable services to realise their goals. Apps and integrations prefer to create in our ecosystem because they feel connected with our ideals and enjoy the variety of available tools and technical alternatives.”

This agreement will provide developers of decentralised applications (DApps) from all across the globe with access to Optimism’s public and premium RPCs. “We like what Optimism is doing for Ethereum’s future. Greg Gopman, Ankr’s chief marketing officer, said that the company is pleased to contribute to the RPC service’s speed and reliability.

Ankr also said that it would provide ANKR tokens as an incentive for independent Optimism node operators to contribute their nodes to the load balancer.

Chandler Song, co-founder and CEO of Ankr Network, said in November 2021 that multichain technology is essential for the development of decentralised financial (DeFi) solutions. He said at the time that initiatives that support several chains attract a greater audience and boost their liquidity:

“This implies that at a minimum, any DeFi solution must support Ethereum and a “niche” blockchain. There are proven leaders for trading, staking, and nonfungible tokens (NFTs), among others. And the greater the number of chains you can engage with, the better.”
