The Creator of Cardano asserts that Ethereum would have benefited from “Snow White”

Charles Hoskinson, the inventor of Cardano, has said that Ethereum might have proceeded to proof-of-stake far more quickly if it had chosen the so-called “Snow White” consensus.

The consensus, which was established by Elaine Shi, a professor at Cornell University, was launched in 2016.

Buterin might have spared “a great deal of grief and effort” by cooperating with prominent scientists to design the Ethereum consensus algorithm.

The installation of “Snow White” might have rectified Hoskinson’s previous criticisms about Ethereum’s lack of academic rigour.

Evan Van Ness, an Ethereum enthusiast, recently claimed that the Merge update should have been released much sooner.

Vitalik Buterin, a Canadian programmer and co-founder of Ethereum, stated that speeding the blockchain’s shift to proof-of-stake would have resulted in a poor NXT-like chain plagued with reorganization problems and the absence of asynchronous guarantees.

According to U.Today, the Merge went live on September 15, causing much excitement. Despite the successful execution of the long-awaited update, however, the price of Ether (ETH) has decreased significantly. According to statistics given by CoinMarketCap, it has down 7.64% in the previous week alone.
