Yuga Labs has deployed ApeChain on Ethereum
Yuga Labs has formally integrated ApeChain, a Layer 2 blockchain that is based on Ethereum.
Yuga Labs, the Web3 company responsible for the Bored Ape Yacht Club, has officially integrated ApeChain, a Layer 2 blockchain that is based on Ethereum. Yuga Labs has introduced the ApeChain bridge and Swap portal in addition to the blockchain itself, which allows users to effortlessly conduct cross-chain transactions.
The launch is a component of Yuga Labs’ dedication to future-proofing its ecosystem through strategic partnerships, such as the one with Wire Network, a universal Layer 1 blockchain infrastructure that is specifically designed for the AI agent economy. This partnership aims to create a future in which AI agents can perform sophisticated tasks on behalf of humans, thereby enabling creators to more effectively and profitably engage with their followers.
This alliance, as AI becomes a popular topic in the creator economy, aims to revolutionize the way consumers and creators interact with AI agents by facilitating more meaningful engagement across digital and virtual realms, according to Yuga Labs.
Greg Solano, the co-founder of Yuga Labs (formerly known as Garga.eth), declared Top Trader to be the inaugural native product on ApeChain. In this on-chain trading simulation game, users are able to trade with leverages of up to 1,000 times without any actual financial risk.
Top Trader comes with a variety of features, such as the Ape Portal, which enables seamless cross-chain payments, and Yuga ID, which streamlines account administration. Transaction gas sponsorship further improves the overall user experience.
In addition to its utilization for tournament rewards, the Restart Protocol is one of the blockchain’s most innovative offerings.
The ApeCoin DAO has previously expressed interest in the development of a dedicated Layer 2 blockchain. Consequently, the introduction of ApeChain is a natural progression.
The initiative originally suggested the creation of an independent blockchain; however, it subsequently reconsidered and found the Layer 2 approach to be more feasible. The ApeCoin community had already expressed strong support for maintaining a connection to Ethereum, which led to this decision following extensive discussions.
Utilizing the Arbitrum Orbit framework, ApeChain optimizes both security and scalability. The ApeCoin metaverse project has achieved another significant milestone in its voyage by utilizing Arbitrum Orbit to align itself with a robust ecosystem.
