Adidas collaborates with Doodles to offer virtual Offering
Adidas collaborated with Doodles to release limited-edition virtual merchandise bundles that contain both digital and physical items.
Adidas has formed a partnership with Doodles, an Ethereum-based NFT initiative, to distribute virtual merchandise bundles that include exclusive Adidas apparel. These limited-edition bundles are available for purchase until August 16.
Each pack contains two products. Depending on your financial flexibility, you can purchase a single pack for $4.99 or a hundred packs for $374.99.
Adidas stated that you may discover co-branded packages within, which include physical items that feature Deysi, the digital mascot from Pharrell Williams, and Coi Leray’s tune, “Not in the Store.” However, there are only 200 Deysi Tracksuits and Superstar Shoes in existence.
Adidas collaborated with Stepn, the fitness app that allows users to earn money by moving, to introduce a collection of virtual running shoes known as Stepn x Adidas Genesis Sneakers earlier this year.
Some of Adidas’s most renowned running designs were the inspiration for these 1,000 NFTs, which were not your average pair of shoes. Around $2,500 or 10,000 GMT, Stepn’s native token, were the prices of each pair.
Shiti Manghani, the CEO of Stepn, referred to it as a “phygital” experience, in which the distinction between the virtual and tangible is blurred.
Adidas also collaborated with Web3 artist FEWOCiOUS to release a limited-edition collection that seamlessly integrated the physical and digital realms.
A pair of artist-designed Campus 00 sneakers was available to NFT holders through the Trefoil Flower Mint Pass, which was part of this partnership.
The utilization of NFC technology, which directly connected the NFT to the tangible shoes, distinguished this release.
Adidas has initiated a variety of initiatives, such as partnerships with prominent entities such as Bugatti, Bored Ape Yacht Club, and Coinbase. Additionally, they have implemented Proof of Attendance Protocol (POAP) tokens in their CONFIRMED application to recognize their most loyal users.
