According to researcher Jane Manchun Wong, Twitter’s “tipping” function will support ‘Coin’ and cryptocurrency integration.
Twitter may take more definitive steps toward incorporating cryptocurrency payments, and maybe a native cryptocurrency.
Jane Manchun Wong, a security researcher, extracted code for a vector picture showing a “Twitter Coin,” which she released in a tweet that has since been removed. Wong also uploaded a picture of Twitter’s “Tips” feature’s “Coins” section.
Wong informed The Block that the code was retrieved from a recent version of the Twitter Web App. The Twitter Coin emblem may be associated with the crypto-integrated tipping function that Twitter seems to be developing.
“It has not yet been pushed out; there is little information available about what this is,” Wong stated in a message, adding that it is unknown if the team is actively developing the feature.
Following communication on LinkedIn, Wong’s social media accounts on LinkedIn and Twitter disappeared.

It is a no-brainer for Twitter to accept both money and cryptocurrencies, according to Musk. The creator of Tesla has often expressed his enthusiasm for incorporating cryptocurrency into Twitter.
