3.5 million dollars supposedly taken from ZkSync’s Gemholic project
Members of the community are now attempting to track down the address of the person who created the Gemholic contract, with the belief that Binance is funding their work.
The Gemholic project and the zkSync network are the subjects of a suspected rug-pull incident, which has sparked concern within the cryptocurrency community.
Some X users who fell victim to the supposed Gemholic scam are speaking up. Gemholic stole $3.5 million, according to NSerec, creator of Zkmarkets.
The X post by NSerec said that Gemholic had lied to its investors for twelve months about reimbursements. As soon as the funds was available, the group pulled off what looked like a rug pull. NSerec said that Binance allegedly financed the contract creator’s address and reached out to community members who may know how Binance might help.
Even though SolidProof’s Know Your Customer (KYC) verification was successful, the verification provider has remained silent on the matter. NSerec thinks the quiet may be an attempt to keep investors from becoming sick of FUD, or fear, uncertainty, and doubt.
Report the fraudsters to the police and inform the public about what transpired; alternatively, a KYC provider could declare they didn’t adequately verify the individuals involved, according to NSerec.
In his statement, the founder of Zkmarkets said that those impacted by the Gemholic fraud should hold SolidProof accountable if the company fails to address the matter. If they accomplish nothing, he said, “UselessProof” might be a better name than “SolidProof.”
