2.5 Billion Shiba Inu (SHIB) Captured Overnight by Top Whales

The WhaleStats wallet tracker indicates that the top whales on the Ethereum network have significantly grown their Shiba Inu holdings by adding billions of meme tokens during the previous 24 hours.

According to WhaleStats, In the previous 24 hours the market value of Shiba Inu, the second most popular meme currency, increased from $578,489,756 to $624,917,962.

This indicates that their aggregate SHIB stockpile has grown by 2,534,750,613,347 Shiba Inu. Thus, the meme coin maintains its position as the third most held cryptocurrency, after Ethereum and the USDT stablecoin.

As previously reported by U.Today, the chief creator of Shiba Inu, Shytoshi Kusama, has updated wording on his Twitter profile indicating that the beta version of Shibarium is about to be released.

In the text, he referenced a “heart-shaped box” that would be used to deliver Shibarium to the community. Numerous major SHIB accounts interpreted this ambiguous suggestion as the release date: February 14, Valentine’s Day.

The price of SHIB and BONE tokens increased in response to this news. SHIB gained over 6% during the last twenty-four hours and is currently trading at $0.00001211.

BONE is the token that will power transactions on Shibarium, and it rose to a local high of $1.50 while attracting more than 28,000 new users.
